Summary
DuaVerse does not collect, store or sell any personal data. The app has no user accounts, no advertising and no analytics.
Data stored on your device
Your settings (selected city, language, Asr method, tasbeeh and durood counts, prayer tracker, memorised surahs, text size, last opened screen) are saved only in your own phone's browser storage so the app remembers them. This data never leaves your device and you can erase it by clearing the app's data.
Health calculator
Age, weight and height you enter in the health calculator are processed and saved only on your own phone. They are never sent to us or anyone else.
Istikhara requests
When you fill in the istikhara form, the app only prepares a text message on your phone. Nothing is sent to us by the app. If you choose to tap "WhatsApp", the message opens in WhatsApp and is sent by you, under WhatsApp's own privacy policy. We use the details you send only to reply to your request.
Quran tutor and Qari job forms
The "Online Quran tutor for kids" and "Online jobs for Qaris" forms work the same way: the details you type (such as name, country, WhatsApp number and preferred timing) are only used to prepare a message on your phone. The app does not send or store them. If you tap "WhatsApp", you send the message yourself, and we use it only to reply to you. Do not enter a child's personal details beyond what is needed to arrange classes.
Emergency numbers
The emergency numbers section only opens your phone's dialer with the number you tap. The app does not make calls, record calls or send any data. Numbers are taken from public government sources and may change; please verify them locally.
Location and compass
Prayer times and the Qibla are calculated on your phone from the city you choose, or — only if you allow location permission — from your phone's location. When location is allowed, the app sends your approximate coordinates once to BigDataCloud's free reverse-geocoding service only to show your city name (for example "Islamabad"). When you search for a city, the text you type is sent to the Open-Meteo geocoding service to find matching cities. These requests are not linked to your identity, are not sent to us, and we do not store your location. You can deny location permission and pick a city by hand instead. The compass reads your phone's orientation sensor on the device only.
Azan notifications
In the Android app, azan alerts are scheduled locally on your phone using the notification and "Alarms & reminders" permissions. No data is sent anywhere for this.
Third-party services
The app may load fonts from Google Fonts, and when you play a recitation it streams the audio from the Islamic Network / AlQuran Cloud CDN (cdn.islamic.network). These services may receive your device's IP address as part of a normal web request. Links to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube (including the Makkah & Madinah live channels), Snapchat, Threads and WhatsApp open those apps or sites, which have their own privacy policies. The app contains no advertising or analytics code.
Children
The app does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
